Zambales Rural Bank, Inc. (“Zambank”) is a domestic rural banking corporation which was established on May 24, 1974. Zambank has been in the banking industry for 48 years formerly named “The Rural Bank of Castillejos, Inc.”, currently offering Savings, Demand and Time Deposit products. It also offers other products, such as ECPay. Likewise, it also provides short term and long-term loans to rural clients with the following type of loans: Commercial, Agricultural, Housing and Other Purposes.

The business affairs of the Bank are conducted under the supervision and control of the Board of five (5) directors, headed by the Chairman, Ms. Jeditte Margaret S. Coloma, and assisting them in the formulation of policies and procedures are the following committees: Management, Credit, Audit and Risk Management.

Zambank operates in Zambales (Olongapo, Barretto, Castillejos, San Macelino & San Antonio), Bataan (Dinalupihan & Hermosa), Pampanga (Lubao, San Fernando, Angeles and Mabalacat) and Baguio.

For 48 years, Zambank has established its name, has been known in the locality, and has acquired the full trust of the communities it serves.

In the pursuit of this mission, Zambank shall:

• Create Manual of Operation in all phases of banking transactions; train and inform staff in all levels to understand and strictly implement the Manual Of Operation and BSP Manual of Regulation and Circulars; 

• Set specific targets for all branches and home office; development of products and services to conform with the need of current times;

• Coordinate with the government in the pursuit of promoting the welfare of the communities.
